This print requires both the Lego Piranha Plant and Lego Botanical Succulents sets to be displayed as intended. It’s also the first model I’ve shared publicly, so please provide feedback or support me however you see fit!
This is something I’ve intended to make since the release of the Lego Piranha Plant kit—a planter that makes it seem more like a house plant blending in with flowers and succulents. The Lego-style base slides into the finned planter I design and has a incredibly satisfying fit, both in the planter and paired with the bricks on top of it.
There’s just enough space to pair 5 out of the 9 succulents included in the kit (reference the images to match the way I layed them out). The hole in the center is angled so that the Piranha Plant leans forward in the same way as the original kit, and it’s just deep enough to sit him above most of the other plants.
For an optional extra step, I purchased 50 assorted, 1×1, brown Legos to simulate topsoil. It’s a nice touch, but honestly it’s barely noticeable. A dark brown filament for the base (rather than black) might work just as well.
