SPLITTING OF THE TREE AND STAR INTO INDIVIDUAL PARTS ALLOWS MULTIMATERIAL PRINTERS TO PRINT THEM AT THE SAME TIME WITH DIFFERENT COLORS.
This is NOT intended to be printed separately and glued together; however since it is such a simple part, it may still function if glued together.
Other than splitting of the tree and star into separate STLs, I have done nothing to alter either things.
You will need to print 1 of every STL uploaded to complete the entire print.
Print Settings
Printer brand: Prusa
Printer: MMU2s
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: .2
Infill: 15% Gyroid
Filament brand: Hatchbox
Filament color: Green Tree & Hook / Silver Star / Black Base / Red Bauble
Filament material: PLA
Notes:
Used brim for Tree/Star and Base, not really needed, but brims help with 1st layer adhesion significantly (as well as prevents some warping on larger ‘footprints’) and are not difficult to remove
How I Designed This
Meshmixer was used to Seperate the Tree from the star
First Import the Original Tree > Select > Highlight the Star > Create Facegroup > Edit > Generate Complex > Split Complex > Export STL Binary Sequence, One File Per Region
