At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, Aston Martin is unveiling a convertible version of its Valkyrie hypercar. With its removable carbon fiber roof, the two-seater roadster lets both passengers enjoy the roar of the 1,176 hp V12 hybrid.
Aston Martin is taking advantage of the August auto event, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey (California), to present a new variant of its powerful Valkyrie. After the AMR Pro coupe and track car, the English manufacturer is taking the top off with the Valkyrie Spider. Thanks to its removable carbon fiber roof, it allows passengers to enjoy even more of the sound of its Cosworth V12…
To transform the Valkyrie into a roadster without making it too heavy or losing rigidity, a few adjustments were made: massive use of carbon fiber on the removable roof panel and the chassis, polycarbonate side windows, butterfly doors replaced by elytron openings, etc.
